The VoriHaus Paloma Stone and Wood Wall Sconce sets a block of natural travertine behind a curved band of wood, and the gap between the two is where the light comes from. It leaves upward and downward in two soft bands with no bare lamp visible from any normal angle, which is the practical argument for this shape: you get the wash without the glare source sitting in your eyeline as you walk past.

It measures 8.7 inches wide and 6.3 inches tall and weighs 4.4 pounds, making it a broader, lower fixture than the column sconces in the range. The light source is an integrated LED rated up to 10 watts. Two finishes are offered and chosen at checkout. The travertine is natural stone, so the pore pattern and banding differ from piece to piece and the wood grain varies with it.

The fixture is hardwired and the LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb. VoriHaus recommends having a qualified electrician make the connection, fixing into a stud or a rated wall plug rather than plasterboard alone, and confirming the fixture is rated for your household supply before installation. Wipe the wood and the stone with a dry or barely damp soft cloth, and keep acidic and solvent cleaners away from the travertine.
