Ophelia Mushroom Table Lamp - Dome Glass Shade on a Metal Base, 6.2 x 9.1 Inches, Touch Dimmable Three-Color LED Bedside Lamp

The VoriHaus Ophelia Mushroom Table Lamp is built on the shape it is named for: a wide glass dome over a short polished stem, so the light is pushed down and out rather than up. A dome this shape puts a pool of light on the surface it stands on and leaves the rest of the room dim, which is why the silhouette has outlasted the decade that invented it.

The shade is glass and the base is polished metal. The whole base is the switch. A touch anywhere on it turns the lamp on, and further touches cycle it through three color temperatures, from warm through neutral to cool, and adjust the brightness. There is no cord switch to find in the dark. Power comes over USB at 5V DC, so a laptop port, a power bank or a wall adapter will all run it, and the LED is integrated rather than replaceable.

It stands 9.1 inches high and 6.2 inches wide, small enough for a narrow nightstand or a shelf, and is offered in five colorways shown in the swatches above. VoriHaus recommends standing it on a level surface, handling it by the base rather than the glass dome, and switching it off before wiping with a dry soft cloth.
