Gunnar Cooling Bamboo Viscose Sheet Set, Deep Pocket

The VoriHaus Gunnar Viscose from Bamboo Sheet Set is woven entirely from viscose from bamboo, a regenerated cellulose fiber that comes off the loom silky rather than crisp. The hand is lightweight with a subtle natural sheen, and the surface stays cool against the skin instead of holding warmth the way a heavier cotton would. The fiber is moisture wicking and temperature regulating, which is what lets one set work through summer and winter alike.

Each set arrives as four pieces: a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and two pillowcases. Sizes run Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King, the last supplied with king pillowcases. The fitted sheet comes in two builds. Classic Fit is the standard elasticated corner. EasyFit adds pocket pull corners, which give you something to grip when you are making the bed on your own. Both builds use a deep pocket that fits mattresses up to 17 inches.

The set is machine washable and holds its silky surface through repeated laundering. VoriHaus recommends washing on a cool gentle cycle with a mild detergent, skipping fabric softener, and drying low or line drying, since viscose is at its most fragile when wet. Smooth the flat sheet out rather than folding it away damp. Best on a mattress of 17 inches or less so the fitted corners sit square.
