Tarquin Sculptural Loop Table Lamp - Frosted Glass Globe on a Burgundy Resin Base, G9 Bedside and Console Accent Lamp

The VoriHaus Tarquin Sculptural Loop Table Lamp runs its base up and over itself in a single continuous curve, then sets a frosted glass globe where the loop closes. Unlit it is closer to a small sculpture than a lamp; lit, the globe sits inside the curve so the finish catches the glow along its inside edge. The form is asymmetric on purpose and reads differently from each side.

The base is plated resin over an iron frame, finished in a deep glossy burgundy, and the weight of it is what lets the loop cantilever without tipping. The globe is frosted glass, so the light is diffused before it leaves. It takes a G9 bulb of 6 to 10W, not included, and runs on 90 to 260V AC with a button switch. Lit area is around 3 to 5 square meters, which is accent rather than primary lighting.

The scale suits a console, a nightstand or a shelf where the lamp will be seen from more than one angle. VoriHaus recommends standing it on a level surface and checking the loop sits flat before releasing it, keeping the bulb within the stated wattage, and wiping the burgundy finish with a dry soft cloth rather than a household cleaner, which will strip a plated surface.
