Pernille Crystal and Metal Cage Wall Sconce Light

The VoriHaus Pernille Crystal and Metal Cage Wall Sconce stands a column of faceted crystal rods inside a metal frame, with a broad band across the middle holding the two halves together. The rods are what the fixture is for: lit from inside, each one picks up the light along its length and breaks it, so the wall behind gets a scatter of small highlights rather than an even wash. Two finishes are offered and chosen at checkout.

Two sizes are sold, and they are genuinely different fixtures rather than the same one scaled. The small is 5.5 inches deep and 12 inches tall, weighs 2 pounds and takes up to 40 watts. The large is 8 inches deep and 18 inches tall, weighs 3 pounds and takes up to 60 watts. Both use an E12 base, and the bulb is not included on either, so the light color and output are chosen separately.

The fixture is hardwired. VoriHaus recommends having a qualified electrician make the connection, fixing into a stud or a rated wall plug rather than plasterboard alone, and confirming the fixture is rated for your household supply before installation. Let the fixture cool before handling it, and dust the crystal rods with a dry soft cloth rather than a wet one so the facets do not mark.
