The VoriHaus Selma Minimalist Crescent Wall Sconce sets a round globe light against a half-disc backing, so the lit sphere sits partly in front of the crescent and partly above it. Switched off it still reads as a shape on the wall rather than a fixture waiting to be used, which is the argument for it in a room where the light is only on for part of the evening. It measures 10 inches wide and 5 inches tall and weighs 14 ounces, light enough that the fixing is carrying very little. The globe is a G9 LED drawing up to 5 watts, and it is included rather than sold separately. The light color is chosen at checkout from three temperatures. Because the bulb is a replaceable G9 rather than a sealed unit, a failed lamp means a new bulb and not a new sconce.

The fixture is hardwired. VoriHaus recommends having a qualified electrician make the connection, fixing into a stud or a rated wall plug rather than plasterboard alone, and confirming the fixture is rated for your household supply before installation. Let the globe cool before handling it, and wipe the crescent and the globe with a dry or barely damp soft cloth.
