Ebba Organic Glass Wall Sconce, Hardwired or Plug In

The VoriHaus Ebba Organic Glass Wall Sconce is a single sculpted disc of glass, folded and waved at its edge so no two sightlines of it are the same. A small round LED sits at the center and lights the glass from behind, so the color of the disc is what you see rather than a bare lamp. Three glass tones are offered and chosen at checkout, each reading differently depending on how much daylight is in the room.

The disc measures 9.8 inches in both height and width. The light source is a built-in LED drawing up to 5 watts, and the light color is chosen at checkout from three temperatures. The part worth noticing is the installation choice: the same sconce is sold hardwired or plug in, and the plug in version comes with a 5.9 foot cord, so a wall that was never wired can still take one.

Pick the hardwired version only where there is a supply at the mounting point; otherwise the plug in version needs an outlet within reach of the cord. VoriHaus recommends having a qualified electrician make any hardwired connection, confirming the fixture is rated for your household supply before installation, fixing into a stud or a rated wall plug, and routing a plug in cord where it will not be walked on or pulled. Wipe the glass with a dry soft cloth.
