Bexley Mushroom Table Lamp - Soft Silicone Dome Shade, 5.5 x 7.7 Inches, USB Three-Level Touch Dimming LED Night Lamp

The VoriHaus Bexley Mushroom Table Lamp is made of silicone rather than glass or metal, which changes what it is for. The dome shade and rounded base are both soft to the touch, there is no edge to chip and nothing to shatter if it is knocked off a nightstand, so it suits a bedside table, a shelf, or any surface where a glass lamp is a liability.

Light comes from an integrated LED behind the silicone, which diffuses it into a low, even glow of under 60 lumens. That is night-light territory rather than reading light, and the three-level touch dimming lets it drop lower still. Power is USB at 5V DC, drawing under 5W, so it runs from a power bank, a laptop or a wall adapter. The housing behind the silicone is plastic.

It measures 5.5 inches wide, 4.3 inches deep and 7.7 inches high, and is offered in two colorways shown in the swatches above. The soft surface wipes clean with a damp cloth, which most lamps will not tolerate. VoriHaus recommends switching it off at the source before cleaning, standing it on a level surface, and using a damp cloth rather than a solvent on the silicone.
