Laurent Reversible Egyptian Cotton Waffle Weave Bedspread

The VoriHaus Laurent Egyptian Cotton Bedspread is woven from Egyptian cotton and finished differently on each face. One side is a waffle weave, a grid of raised cells that traps a thin layer of air and reads as texture from across the room. The other side is smooth and silky against the skin. Both faces are the same cotton, so the bedspread is genuinely reversible rather than a face cloth backed with something lesser.

Three sizes are made, Full, Queen and King. Which face goes up is the point of the thing. Waffle side up gives you the warmer, more textured surface and a little more insulation, useful in cooler months or on a bed that reads flat. Smooth side up is the cooler of the two and the one to have against bare skin in summer. The bedspread is light enough either way to work as a single top layer or over a duvet.

It is machine washable. VoriHaus recommends a warm or cool wash with a mild detergent and no fabric softener, which coats a waffle weave and closes the cells that make it work. Tumble low or line dry, and pull it out slightly damp so the waffle opens back up. A cool iron on the smooth face only. Best laid flat on the bed so both faces hang evenly.
