Ivo Quilted Cotton Bedspread Set with Two Pillowcases

The VoriHaus Ivo Cotton Bedspread Set is cut from pure cotton finished as a sateen, a weave that floats more of the warp on the surface and gives the cloth a low, even sheen and a smooth hand rather than the dry snap of a percale. The bedspread is lightly quilted, so it holds a little loft without becoming a duvet, and cotton being cotton it comes back softer from each wash rather than wearing thin.

The set is a quilted bedspread with two matching pillowcases. Three sizes are offered: a combined Twin and Full, a Queen and a King. The quilting is deliberately light, which is what makes it a year round layer. Used alone it is enough on a warm night; laid over a duvet it adds a finished top surface and a little extra warmth without the bulk of a second quilt, and it is the layer you can pull back in the morning.

The whole set is machine washable. VoriHaus recommends a warm or cool wash with a mild detergent, a low tumble dry, and taking the bedspread out while a touch damp so the quilted channels settle flat rather than puckering. A cool iron on the pillowcases brings the sateen sheen back if you want it. Best laid over a flat mattress so the quilting hangs evenly at the sides.
