Vidar Banded Orb Table Lamp - Glass Sphere on a Crossed Wood Stand, Remote Dimmable LED, Nightstand and Shelf Lamp

The VoriHaus Vidar Banded Orb Table Lamp is a white glass sphere wrapped by one wide colored band around its middle, resting in a cradle of two crossed wooden sticks. The stand is the design: it holds the orb without clamping it, so the sphere reads as set down rather than mounted, and the whole piece can be lifted off and carried in one hand.

Light leaves the orb in two directions, up toward the ceiling and down through the open stand, and the level is set from the supplied remote. The lamp runs on 5V DC and draws under 5W, so it can stay on for hours without much thought. The sphere is a diffusing shade rather than clear glass, so there is no bright point to look at from across the room.

Two colorways are offered and shown in the swatches above. The footprint is small enough for a crowded nightstand or a shelf, and the orb shape means there is no shade edge to catch a sleeve. VoriHaus recommends a level surface, checking the crossed stand sits flat before releasing the orb, switching the lamp off at the source before cleaning, and a dry soft cloth rather than any liquid cleaner.
