Wendell Wood Table Lamp - Spherical Base with a Pleated Fabric Shade, 9.8 x 11.8 Inches, Three-Color LED Bedside Lamp

The VoriHaus Wendell Wood Table Lamp pairs a spherical wooden base with a pleated fabric shade, and the contrast between the two is the design: a solid, grain-visible ball of wood under a cone that is all folds and softness. The sphere gives the lamp visual weight low down, which is what keeps a tall shade from looking top-heavy on a narrow nightstand.

The shade is pleated fabric, which diffuses the light through the cloth and throws a warm ring onto the wall behind. The bulb is included and gives three light colors, warm, natural and cool, at 7W, so the same lamp can read as a reading light or as evening ambience. Hardware is metal, the base is wood, and the cord runs out from underneath to a USB power supply.

It stands 11.8 inches high, 9.8 inches wide and 4.7 inches deep, which suits a bedside table, an entryway console or a side table. Wood moves with humidity, so VoriHaus recommends keeping the lamp out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, standing it on a level surface, and dusting the shade with a dry brush rather than a damp cloth, which will mark pleated fabric. The bulb is rated at 7W, so the lamp stays cool enough to sit close to bedding without concern.
