Untied it measures 10 by 160 centimeters, or 3.9 by 63 inches, so the finished knotted piece is a good deal shorter than that figure suggests, and how much shorter depends on how tightly the knot is pulled. The slim diameter is what allows the tube to be tied at all: a thicker bolster would not bend through the turn without buckling.

Two plain colorways are made, white and black, with no print on either, so the cushion reads entirely as form. It suits the corner of a sofa, the foot or head of a bed, a window seat or a desk chair in a home office, where a knotted length reads as a considered object rather than a spare cushion. Because it is slim, it also sits in places a square cushion would overwhelm.
