The VoriHaus Dachshund Bolster Pillow is a long plush bolster shaped as a dachshund, with the body forming the length of the cushion and the head and tail closing each end. The proportions of the breed are what make the shape work as a bolster: the body is already long and low, so the cushion reads as an animal from the side and as a straight lumbar roll from above. The plush pile is short and dense.

Two lengths are made. The 68 centimeter version, 26.8 inches, is a lumbar cushion for the small of the back in a chair or at a desk. The 108 centimeter version, 42.5 inches, is long enough to run along the back of a sofa or across the head of a bed. Four colorways are available: white, brown, beige and green, each in the same short plush.

A long bolster is best supported along its whole length rather than left to hang over an arm, which sets a permanent bend in the fill over time. Work the fill back towards the middle by hand if it migrates to the ends. No wash instruction is supplied for this pillow, so spot clean with a barely damp cloth and dry it away from direct heat.
